I always try to think of it as a fun adventure when the power goes out. I grab a flashlight, and a book. I hope your cell phone charge lasts!!!!

@4meAndyou I have several charging batteries and my phone is currently connected to a new 40,000 mah battery I recently purchased from Amazon. I'm sitting in an electric lift recliner, in the dark, which is currently reclined so I have to crawl out of it to get up. Also on a well so no water. I didn't prepare for this I usually half fill the bath tub if I expect the power to go out.

@4meAndyou I have water to drink and for the critters but the tub water is for bucket flushing the toilet. The current situation is I have one flush and that's it. But on the bright side a neighbor called to check on me and offered a generator if I need heat tonight. I'm pretty good staying covered to survive the cold but we shall see. It was nice to know he was thinking of me.

@4meAndyou Well I'm in Maryland. The temp is 35 and chill is 25. Place is poorly insulated so the wind pulls heat off. I'll be okay for quite a few more hours. They are usually fast with getting it back on but this time there's a lot of small outages all around me so I don't know. It could be awhile.
