Batten Down The Hatches…. A Large Strong Storm Is Approaching My Area Within An Hour…

@kodiac We went to our neighbor’s house across the street. They have a shelter in their garage. This city has zero public shelters. The hospital has a large basement for patients and staff that they use. The university has some dorm towers with basements for the students only.

@BizSuitStacy thank you. My neighbor has a shelter if we need it. I spent about 4 hour over there today and we watched the weather coverage on TV….Been stormy all day long in various parts of Oklahoma. We had a small, short-lived one and it didn’t rain much this afternoon, lasted maybe 20-25 minutes.

@TexChik I went to sleep in my recliner and I think we had one storm after another all night long…there was some really loud thunder rattling the windows. Went to the neighbors for almost an hour because of a tornado warning for the county. A tornado set down and came within a half-mile of Riverwind casino.

@4meAndyou there were two in my city on the other side…did some damage to homes and trees. I don’t know how many.

@NativePortlander1970 We have two power banks that we use when we are somewhere and our phones gets low….can also use them on our IPads, we brought our phones & I pads with us to our neighbor’s house in case we needed to head to the shelter in the garage because the tornado sirens went off. A tornado came about a 1/2 mile from the casino but it lifted up before it got here. We did have a storm with a lot of rain and it’s still thundering and raining.
