The wintery blast is continuing in Perth

@KiwiBird Yeah, no need to water the garden for a few days. Still raining here. Very light though.

@deadgerbil Some places were flooded. Perth Airport had a river running through it's corridors.
Freeway was closed due to too much water to drive through.
A minimal number of houses had ankle deep water. As I say, Perth, being on a sand plain, most water gets away very quickly.

3 days of rainfall this month, 1st, 5th and 6th of June has seen 105mm - 4 1/8th" dumped on the Perth metropolitan catchment.

@PoetryNEmotion I am at work, the temperature has risen to 10C. 50F.
Heavy rain squalls, hail, thunder and lightning. Supposed to ease by tonight.
Perth rarely gets this kind of weather, 10 degrees maximum at 1pm? Unheard of.

@Gusman our weather has been unusual as well. The seasons are lasting longer and into the next moth and a half. But the rainy season also came with hailstorms, high winds, cooler weather and flash floods.

@Mindful Our Summers appear to be hotter and longer than I remember.
We are living in interesting times.🙂

@BridgeOvertroubledWaters Hard to stay warm when starting work at 5am. 8 degrees right now at 4.37am. 🙂

@deadgerbil I like the rain as well. Just that is is very cold right now. 10 degrees at 1pm.
I will be going home in just over an hour. Toasty warm there. 🙂
