I hear thunder right now- this very moment

My cousin heard what he thought was thunder. No clouds in the sky and it was only 30F. Not thunder. Maybe a moose or a bear on his deck (he lives in a very remote area). He checked no moose or bear in sight. What could it be. Then there was another rumble and things began to move in his house. He realized he was experiencing an earthquake.

There's a lot of psychological stuff that goes in to why some love storms and others don't. It's interesting. I've read theories that some are hardwired for it and goes back to early man.

We had thunder a few days ago. That was a pretty good rain maker all most 2 inches

That sounds nice. I never hear the thunder over the sound of my dog freaking out.
