Yes I do love it. It brings me back to my childhood in northwestern Missouri. It wasn’t so good for my uncle when we got over 2 feet of snow that didn’t melt for a while. He had to wade snow to go take care of the livestock and milk the cows twice a day and ended up with pneumonia. One of my favorite memories of that time was when a friend who lived about a mile and a half away came to our farm on a horse-drawn sleigh and gave us a ride around the pasture on Christmas Eve. I think he was gifting farm families with that sleigh ride since everyone else was snowed it. The snow plough got stuck on the blacktop trying to clear the snow.

Going for a quiet walk in the dead of night after the snow had freshly fallen, it's always been one of my all-time favorite liminal experiences. The soft crunching, the whistling wind, the way everything is bright even when the sky is overcast. The way the flakes lazily fall.

yes. the way it blankets and silences everything, stops all growth and makes everything smell clean, crunches underfoot and reflects the light up into my face.

Depends how much of it I have to shovel or if my snowblower can handle it. Great for moisture Not so good for my back.

One of the reasons I live this far north.

I'm not a fan of snow anymore Mattie, I think the older you get the less you like it.
