I'm also not a fan of the cold but I have learned to deal with it living in New England. What I do enjoy is the first snow, especially if it starts at night. It's quiet and pretty. Everything is blanketed in pure white and the snow crunches under foot. Mmm. I love that. I'll go for a walk to see the neighborhood blanketed in fresh snow and then come in and sit by the fireplace.

@sben4200 yes that sounds lovely. I went skiing once. Spent the entire weekend in the lodge in front of a big fireplace, sipping wine and looking at the snow. My kind of skiing.

@pdockal I’m in Raleigh, NC. We haven’t had a white thirst as here in 86 years. We do get snow in January and February - or used to.

I use to like watching it snow. It was so pretty. Sit in my recliner with a nice cup of hot chocolate. After we retired we moved to Florida. Now we live at the beach where it never snows. I think I like warm weather and the beach best of all. 🙂🙂🙂
