I Love Snow

I don’t like cold weather but I do like to see snow a couple times a year. When you live in the south, it can get crazy when it’s in the forecast like it is today. Knowing the grocery stores will be empty by this afternoon, I went early and got what I need for a big pot of vegetable beef soup. It’s in the crock pot simmering and I have enough for all, so please come fill your bowl.

It snows plenty here normally but not so much this year. The ski areas are making snow though.

@Softandsweet2 we had some a few weeks ago, then it warmed up and we had heavy rain. All the snow melted and we had flooding.

@Sevendays that’s not good. Here in North Carolina, any flooding comes from hurricanes. I love the beach in the fall, but it’s hard to vacation there due to the frequent hurricanes. Seems to always run me off. .

@Softandsweet2 we don't get any hurricanes, just the remains of tropical storms every once in a while. I like the ocean and beach but the water up here is cold, almost too cold to swim in.

@Sevendays it’s like bath water here, sometimes warmer. I don’t go swimming much anyway cause there are no fresh water showers where I go. I love morning runs / walks on the beach and evening wine. Sometimes I’ll stay till midnight if I have the right company. I don’t lay in the sun anymore.
