How... um... how could you POSSIBLY have a tornado without rotation? That's kind of their whole thing.

@Rabscuttle When a tornado warning says rotation indicated, it means Doppler radar has detected strong spinning winds inside a thunderstorm, according to the Weather Underground Guide to Tornado Warning Types.
What Rotation Indicated Means
Unconfirmed ground status: An actual tornado has not been visually confirmed by a spotter or a debris signature on radar yet.
Active threat: A tornado could already be forming on the ground or could start at any moment.
Early warning: Forecasters issue this alert to give people extra time to react before a touchdown happens.
