What can people do in the woods apart from hunting?

Hunting is bad. It gives you something to do in the woods but I think we can do better.

Stumble into mountain lion territory, not know what the sudden silence is about and then stumble back out. At least that's what I did in Canada when I was 16 on a solo hike.

@Matt85 Nearly fainted when my host told me what that meant. I'm from the city the only lion I have is a cat that likes eating pigeons on occasion.
