Yes, countless times. It started as a kid that led to boy scout outings and then the US Army led outings with some of the coldest possible to monsoon soaked to desert heated places in the world.
Needless to say, I do not find tent camping to my liking any longer for some reason or another.
Yes it's called camping . Then if you're into it you get a popup trailer and crank up your tent and pop a beer listening to the rain on the roof instead of swimming out of your sleeping bag
@Hatt94 exactly. Except I was in a large culvert and didn't realize it. I was satisfied with the popup. Anything could tow it, it got me off the ground and had an ice box. Much more comfortable when it rained.
@Gibbon not a good place to wake up. Yeah, im on my third trailer now, they keep getting bigger. Now its 44' long, triple slides, 2 bathrooms, fireplace, tv, king size bed. Its not really camping anymore. And. Need a big diesel pickup to pull it.
