Honestly, I don't think it's worth it. It just takes too much time and resources to produce enough to make it cost effective. For my own use alone, I would need to make at least 100 gallons a week for fuel. As an emergency backup, sure, but not as a long term solution.
THAT is a VERY beautiful farm!!! I LOVE the red barn SO much. My grandfather had one JUST like it on his farm out in Nebraska. Red barns always make me feel very nostalgic!
It’s been a stretch of dry rather pleasant weather. The mornings have been chilly including a few frosts here but overall beautiful weather. The colors aren’t as vibrant as usual but still early yet. The farm looks awesome, and what a place to live a peaceful life.
