My sympathies. They went up my arm when they did me, but I know from a friend how horrible this procedure is. They've saved your life, so that has to be good. My best wishes for a speedy recovery.

I've been cathed three times and have 4 stents. All three in the groin. All three were quick, easy and painless. I never had the site look anything like that. I think someone or something screwed up.

The ex had a catheter introduced into his arteries using that route. NOT a fun thing. I am sorry that happened to you.

When I had my Cardiac catheterization they went in from my wrist.
