@PrestonJ That's a melancholic type of beauty to feel like that bundled in a place that's much like home away from home. There's a meadow I no longer have access to and it felt the same way. Breaks my heart a little because I miss it so much. And oh how I wish I had pictures even though it's imbedded in my memory, but still....💔

Yeah I always carry when it’s that isolated. I saw two people the entire time I was there, my thinking was that because there wasn’t much traffic bears might want to explore a little, plus being so isolated I just wanted to make sure no weirdos came up on me

@PrestonJ We do have a few bears around here but I'm more concerned with the two legged predators.

@Lilliesandlight no I drove out in the morning and hung out until the sun went down. It was a spontaneous trip so I just threw a couple things from my garage in the car and picked up hotdogs on the way.
