It is my favorite place in the middle of nowhere. I keep this spot hidden from most people. You feel like you’re in another world the moment you drive off the pavement. The only sound you really hear is the water rushing which paradoxically encourages me to do the opposite. My mind slows and my heart opens and I usually find myself crying and laughing a lot here, the isolation and the beauty work in tandem to make me shed what isn’t me.
@PrestonJ That's a melancholic type of beauty to feel like that bundled in a place that's much like home away from home. There's a meadow I no longer have access to and it felt the same way. Breaks my heart a little because I miss it so much. And oh how I wish I had pictures even though it's imbedded in my memory, but still....💔
@MoonlightLullaby it very much feels like home, I can go there in my mind whenever I want and walk around. I’m sorry you no longer have access to your meadow. That makes me sad. Why can’t you go there anymore?
