I've tried everything I can think of to stop them from robbing the birdfeeders. So, I am going to go to war, and shoot their butts. 😁 They keep on..keeping on...trying time after time but I'm on a mission. When the little furry critters start climbing up the tree to jump over and steal the sunflower seeds... I blast them..repeatly....and laugh away. Most of the squirrels have learned but the juveniles are..learning if they don't like to take a shower...stay down off the tree. I've been quite successful too! 😎 And having a good ole time to boot! Huh... maybe I need to get out more....nope...Life is good.❤✌
@Neoerectus too funny! ...before the water gun, I was throwing empty plastic water bottles at them.... i even put a tad of water in them for weight ..they threw better....lol..now that was funny...i ain't right😎
@deadgerbil well... the squirrels were eating up all the bird feed...didn't want to harm them so... 😎 while I'm on the porch ..i entertained myself. Win..win..situation!
@TexChik i get you. The population of them is growing here..a lot. Yup... they eat on your house..even when we are in the woods...like there isnt another place to house themselves.
@TexChik same here. We aren’t as kind as she is…we took out more than 20 of them the last time we were at our acreage. They got into our camper and nearly destroyed the entire roof. From the inside out!
@samueltyler2 i once use vaseline on my shepherds hook... it didn't last long but i never laughed so hard at the squirrels trying to climb up...sliding down....some would get a running start...lol..and they would spin about on the hook..,too funny.
@samueltyler2 huh.. I'd be afaird it would get on the fed for the birds and hurt them. I'll keep on ..showering the squirrels...it's a challenge for all involved 😂
@BlueGreenGrey cool! I hang our feeders from the tree branches..fairy high. Too many other critters here in the woods. When i used shepherds hook, ...The bears just grabs and goes with the feeders.
@BlueGreenGrey we take down feeders before dark. We have a large half shepherd and wolf dog that keeps bears from making themselves at home. Yes...we see bears almost daily. And yes bears are excellent climbers.
