Ouch! That stings!

[image/video deleted]
I was sitting on my porch resting and drinking a bottle of water. A yellow jacket popped me right in the bend of my arm. That sure wasn't nice of all things! So I'm afraid it and its whole family had to die!

I was moving the rolling trash containers in the alley and when I grabbed the handle I felt something grab my pinkie and I pulled my hand back and had a few yellow jackets going to town on my poor finger ! They got me under the nail! I had some Benadryl spray and took the top off and soaked my finger in it ! Then I got the wasp spray! 😡

@TexChik hurts like the devil

@TexChik Next critters on my list are those carpenter bees! I don't kill them ... well, that's not true, but I will close up their holes and if they are inside....oops!.

Save the honeybees!! 🥺

@Lilymoon Yellow jacks and red wasps are demons on the prowl!
Lilymoon · F
@Coletracer Agreed... glad you're a honeybee lover 😁

@Lilymoon yellow jackets are extremely aggressive. If one stings you the rest will try to as well. Honeybees are really gentle in comparison

Had one crawl under the leg of my loose seersucker Capris the other day. I kept feeling a prickly feeling and reached around to see what was there. Finally went into the house and took off my capris and there was a yellow jacket. It didn’t fly around so maybe I squeezed it. Sprayed it and killed it.There was a red spot on the back of my leg, I think some venom dripped on it without the yellow jacket stinging me.

@cherokeepatti A hornet got me last year and that hurt for a few days, but for me, yellow jackets sting goes away pretty quick. Hurts though.

@Coletracer I stepped on a hornet and got stung and came inside and put vinegar on the sting and it didn’t hurt after that

@cherokeepatti when bees or wasps end up indoors they are basically lost. I do not know if it is because they do not see well or what.

That is likely why it did not fly around.

I had some kind of wasp get in the house the other day and all it did was fly and park at the overhead light in the living room.
Ouch, indeed.....

Sorry to hear dear Trace.... Hope that it will heal soon...

But...... it was just a bee sting.... didnt have to turn you into a bee serial killer.... 😂🤗🤗😘

@Soossie My bee policy is they leave me alone I leave them alone. Sting me and I'll hunt the bee down and it's family down and afterward, I tear it's house down in case there is one member I missed!😁🤠
@Coletracer

Awwww!! :( 🤗🤗

One of the more hated creatures out there. It just warms my heart when those little b@stards are sent to an early grave.

So what did you use then to massacre it's family? I hope it wasn't anything too strong so they died slowly.

Folks, please, may I get the "hugging heart" reaction?
