What is your favorite sign of spring?

Without a doubt mine is seeing the robins come back.
[image deleted]Being Welsh it has to be daffodils.

@Oster1 I don't see it as anyone failing me. I need to do what's right for me and not fail myself. So, I am going to do what helps me and gets me back on track... more time with home things and things that bring my heart happiness. That can't be found on a site.
SW-User
@Oster1 You don't owe me anything. It's fine.
Oster1 · M
@SW-User I feel like I do.

I just loved, seeing you laugh!

I said I failed you, and you laughed! I did too!

🤗🥰😘

I know when my Helleborus, Lenten Roses bloom. It's a treat to see them as I remove last year's leaves.

@ShadowWorker So pretty! :)
ShadowWorker · 61-69, F
@SW-User thanks! I love them. There is a greenhouse, not far, that sells them in a variety of colors. Omg 😁

My robins are there all year round. They are lovely and follow me around the garden
meggie · F
@lovelychicadee i love them. I often dig a patch of ground for them during winter so they can eat worms. There is a site on faceboom you can join that is very good. I think it is called Robin the UK's favourite bird. There might be one for your country too.
lovelychicadee · 41-45, F
oh really thanks for the info!@meggie

@meggie Same here! 🥰
sitting on the porch having coffee and seeing the trees come back to life
CrazyMusicLover · 31-35
Fresh green of new leaves and the green light under trees.
I don't know what it is like where you are, but I love somehow there is always at least one day that comes with promise of warm temperature after a lot of snow.... that there is running streams running everywhere, even if just for one day ....

Happens about the time more birds start chirping
lovelychicadee · 41-45, F
brings in such a new energy too! @thewindupbirdchronicles
@lovelychicadee A new breath of life, not to be taken lightly, but doesn't spring ask that metaphorical beginning?
caccoon · 36-40
Yes, seeing the birds and hearing their song. Little sprouts of green... The warmer, more humid air and soft warm sun. 🥰

Robins never go away here. I haven't seen any lambs yet but have seen calves 🥰
Oster1 · M
@Fluffybull Just know, that over time, I have become quite fond of you. I think you are, a really sweet lady.

I love your posts and comments, especially, your food and Scottish photo's. 😊🤗💐

@Oster1 Aw, thank you! 🤗 I have no patience with idiots though.....but there are some nice people on here too 😊👍
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
Personally I love to create little rivers as the snow melts and the water drains away. It started as a kid where I would try to make the feedlot as dry as possible by draining the water and still love to do it to keep the sidewalk and street clear of ice when it freezes overnight.
@hippyjoe1955 i do this too.

I like it when the mockingbirds return and I can hear them sing. Also like the honeybees buzzing around the plum tree when it blooms and on any dandelions that pop up.
Rhode57 · 56-60, M
Yep being able to sit outside in the early morning drinking tea and listening to the birds seeing the sun and seeing leaves on trees and flowers blooming .
redredred · M
I saw some snowdrops coming up out in the woods yesterday. My daffodils have been coming up for a couple of weeks now but flowers in the wild are a sure sign.
Starcrossed · 41-45, F
I love when the Robins come back too. Also when you can open your car window when driving.

I also always look forward to the lilacs in May.
Bri89 · 31-35, M
When the snow starts to melt, and there are still snow patches around. The end of Winter, but not yet the start of Spring.
Freeranger · M
Here in the extreme Northeast, it is seeing the maple tree sap buckets being hung out.

The rivers, are a good indicator. They swell, and flow much swifter.
