This is a pity post 😫😫😫😫

I took a bad tumble on the ice this morning and I’m fairly sure I’ve cracked my ribs 😫😫😫

I’m in so much pain right now, it hurts to breathe. I’ve rang my brother (with lots of tears 😂) and he’s on his way home to check I’m ok or if I need to go and get checked out.

Ow ow ow ow ow 😣

Try pushing down on your sternum, that's what my doctor did when I had a similar issue. Apply lots of ice, take lots of ibuprofen, and take a big, long rest. 🤗

Can you take a deep breath? If you broke your ribs I hope you have a comfortable chair to sleep in , because laying down is the worst ! Been there .

Oh you poor, poor kid. They can't do anything for cracked ribs. Sometimes they will wrap your ribcage tightly, but it's not supposed to be necessary.

Take some pain relievers.

@SophieSmiles Are you going to get it checked? If it's broken there's some sort of a vest you wear till it heals. And pain meds of course. It happened to my grandpa once and it healed within 2 weeks.

Had broken ribs, definitely an "Oouch!" situation. If you do manage to get comfortable you fear moving because the pain is strong.
