What language is American? As far as I can tell, it sounds exactly like the sort of simple English a 4-year-old would speak. You only need to listen to Trump for an example.

@Ferise1 LOL!! First of all, claiming that Libra is the "peacemaker" and Aries is the "warrior" isn’t exactly groundbreaking, now is it? That’s pretty much the bare minimum you could say about the signs and still sound remotely specific. But, you know, if we’re going to assign random traits based on people’s birth dates, why not throw in “Aquarius: probably into conspiracy theories” and “Capricorn: always asks for an extra serving at Christmas”? You see where I’m going with this, right?

And of course, asteroid talk! We’re expanding the universe of random celestial bodies now, are we? Just when you thought astrology couldn’t get any more "comprehensive." I can’t wait to see what they add next, perhaps a few wayward space rocks and the occasional comet that just happens to align with your mood on a Tuesday. But, of course, the big ones like comets are too chaotic right?. Gotta keep it all nice and tidy, #amiright?

As for you kitten with Pluto on the ascendant… 😂 Sure! The little guy was "bad ass," but I’m sure it had nothing to do with the way cats naturally assert dominance as part of their social structure or their genetics. But let’s just chalk it up to cosmic alignment, because that’s clearly the answer.🙄

The COVID prediction? Wow, INCREDIBLE!! A vague “something big will happen involving the government” could literally apply to anything. It’s like saying “Expect a storm this year,” and then casually claiming you predicted a hurricane when one happens.

Oh, and predicting events based on planetary alignments? Well, congrats on connecting dots after the fact! 😎 Hindsight is 20/20. Now we’re all waiting for the next major event, so we can see if Uranus enters Virgo and turns the world upside down, bet you'd be up for that!

Finally, about other astrological cultures! Yes, the Moon sign system works differently in India, for example. But here’s the thing: just because different cultures apply astrology in different ways doesn’t make it “valid.” It just means you’ve got a lot of different ways to be wrong.

And that's how you win an argument. Thank you and Goodnight! :D

@Ferise1 Ah, the old Trump argument. I have dismantled all your so-called "points" and have utterly humiliated you, to the extent you're sinking to name calling.

I've had my fun with you. Goodbye now :)

Try making the distinction, what a closet is to those in the UK! 😂

They have closets for their dishes. Not cupboards.
DeWayfarer · 61-69, M
@Ferise1
“I could care less” means you care a little

Exactly.

And I couldn't care less is a double negative. Couldn't and less.
Ferise1 · 46-50, M
@DeWayfarer no it’s not a double negative, it means it’s not possible to care less…🙄😂

@Ferise1 AI generated
"I couldn't care less" is often misunderstood as a double negative, but it actually means that one cannot care any less than they currently do, indicating complete indifference.

The phrase "couldn't care less" is the correct expression to convey a lack of concern, while "could care less" implies that one still cares to some degree

Yet not fully

Both has their own slang. They have bubble and squeak. Toad in the hole, bangers and mash. As food names after all 😅

@DanielsASJ that’s beautifully poetic and true😊 we are brothers.
But they didn’t discover Australia, it was divided between Portugal and Spain in the 16th century I think. But they didn’t want to settle there for some reason.
DanielsASJ · 36-40, M
@Ferise1 Portugal, Spain(South America), England, Italy, Germany, Switzerland, Poland, Holland, Greece and France every country is brothers with Aussies and Americanis.
Ferise1 · 46-50, M
@DanielsASJ some guy on Facebook tried to tell me I wasn’t welcome in Switzerland because I’m an Aussie…🙄 we’re the same colour we look the same. We have the same religion, and atheism/science. We are literally the same people, historically, Celts and Gaelics. Same kind of culture same kind of humour. One guy was a bit racist to me at the army. He said my name and he said that’s a perfectly normal name around here….
But otherwise, I’ve always been perfectly integrated. Even my landlord who is a right wing fascist, I have beers with him a couple of times a week and we laugh a lot.

You're right. Americans do speak American, or as we like to call it "Simplified English".

I am English and I speak English. I have never been to America.
