This is the honest truth. This Stevie Wonder song we had playing when we signed our marriage license.

@HumanEarth "I just called to say I love you"
Is at the top of my list. Not so much because of the song as much as memories associated with it.
Good Stuff.

I think the impact of a song depends on three things (at least): the artistic quality, the content, and the state the listener is in. Those three came together for me with "For Once in My Life," (Which came out when I did not have "someone who needs me.")
@DrWatson Likewise!
Pfuzylogic · M
I learned to listen to Stevie in the 60s
“I was made to love her”
“My Cherie Amour”
are a good start.

@Pfuzylogic Stevie Wonder, When he was young, was in one of the Beach Party movies.

So many, here are the first five that came to mind.

This place is cruel, nowhere could be much colder. If we don't change, the world will soon be over.

Wonderful selection😊👍 Stevie Wonder is easily the most awarded singer on earth and he deserves them all for his singing and great compositions. These are my favorites :

Lately
You Are The Sunshine Of My Life
My Cherie Amor
Don't You Worry 'Bout A Thing
All In Love Is Fair
Isn't She Lovely
Used To Be
I'll Be Loving You Always

There are so many of his songs I love, very hard to choose.
SchoolBelle · 61-69, F
No argument with any of those. And thank you for the nudge - I had lost touch with his music.

I saw him play Wembley Arena in London in September 1980 - my first big London gig.

It was amazing. One of the all time greats.
MissBarbara · 70-79, F
I like "You Are The Sunshine Of My Life", "A Place In The Sun", "For Once In My Life", "My Cherie Amour", "Yester Me Yester You" and "Isn't She Lovely".
This is a tough call... maybe Fingertips pt 2*

*and every song after that ☺
@rinkydinkydoink Wow, that’s going back to the very beginning. 😃
