It's the name of Trent and Atticus's other band with Trent's wife.

@HowtoDestroyAngels She's grown on me, I wasn't a fan at first but I am too picky with female singers I've decided.

I have had this handle since the mirc days...before EP even.
We had an English Bulldog that would climb an old apple tree in the yard...really...It had two trunks with a large y area where they split. He would climb up there and fall asleep. The dog's name was Goliath and my kids called it the Goliathtree.

@NativePortlander1970 Internet Relay Chat was in a window...all the different groups. I got my first computer in about 1990 so it had to have been around that time.
@goliathtree My Grandfather was a freelance debugger in the 80's to early 90's before he died in 1992, Borland software gave him 10 free hours a month Compuserv, he let me.have 5 hours of it and I would chat on the occult and paranormal channels on effnet and dalnet servers. This was from 1989 to 1992.

Well, it actually goes back to the days of chatroom cybersex. It represented a certain skill--literally and figuratively--I brought to that genre. I resurrected it here because it still was relevant to the NSFW side of things, and I had spent a good deal of my life as what some call being a "spin doctor" so it seemed to cover my societal/political side as well.
im dynamic, ive had many here. drige is a name i used long ago on another site, connected to music and funerals. seemed fitting.

I wrote a short poem right before joining sw, but how those two words showed up and started it I don't know now, I may have been looking for any words that would get a poem going

I often feel like the Phoenix rising out of the ashes

@phoenixrising Rebirth sometimes is needed
Poppies · 61-69, F
I wanted something kind of random that would not point to my identity or anything important about me. Some poppies I had seen on a vacation passed through my mind. "That'll do," I thought.
thepeculiarpanda · 36-40, M
I started off as traurigerpanda which is German for sad panda. Then at some point I switched to the__panda and just keep changing the adjective. 🤔
Felt like an accurate depiction of this stage in my life.

Comes from Greek mythology. The river souls are ferried across. Associated with pain, sorrow, loss. Dramatics.
My username stems from an admittedly weak attempt at writing.
