I have had this handle since the mirc days...before EP even.
We had an English Bulldog that would climb an old apple tree in the yard...really...It had two trunks with a large y area where they split. He would climb up there and fall asleep. The dog's name was Goliath and my kids called it the Goliathtree.

@NativePortlander1970 I am pretty sure there was windows when I was there...
@goliathtree Before windows there was DOS, which IRC operated on
@goliathtree Just looked it up, Windows 1.0 was debuted in 1985, IRC debuted in 1988, go figure

@NativePortlander1970 Internet Relay Chat was in a window...all the different groups. I got my first computer in about 1990 so it had to have been around that time.
@goliathtree My Grandfather was a freelance debugger in the 80's to early 90's before he died in 1992, Borland software gave him 10 free hours a month Compuserv, he let me.have 5 hours of it and I would chat on the occult and paranormal channels on effnet and dalnet servers. This was from 1989 to 1992.
