So Linkin Park has a new singer

Drummer too. Nobody could ever replace Chester, but the band has entered a new era and I'm all for it

I saw most of a concert vid. I know they have been working together for a while, but I think this could backfire on them bigtime. Is she a Scientologist or not? There doesn't seem to be a straight answer, and the negative backlash is not helping them.

Following the death or departure of a lead singer, some bands go different and hit the jackpot(AC/DC, Van Halen) and others simply hire a clone(Boston, Journey). But she sounds so different and not necessarily in a good way, lots of keys are raised which changes the feel of a lot of the songs.

Time will tell. This could very well blow up in their faces. I'm curious about the drummer's bailing on the band. Did he just not want to do LP anymore, or did he not approve of the new singer?

@uncalled4 she doesn't believe that mental health issues are real. Given why Chester died, I think it's in poor taste she was chosen to replace him.

@Longpatrol I'm inclined to agree.
