My grandfather and great grandfather saw the Beatles live in concert at Maple Leaf Gardens in Toronto on September 7th, 1964.

The cost of the tickets were $5.00 each and scalpers were getting as much as $30.00 outside the gates. The total attendance for the concert was 17,000 people which started at 4pm and ran for 3 hours.

The opening act for the Beatles was The Righteous Brothers which was an American band.
@swirlie they played here too....empire stadium...i wasn't born yet though...but my parents were probably dating and up to no good at that time 😈
Cobain never took his own life, his childhood best friend made a documentary proving Courtney hired a hit to take him out to prevent him from getting custody of Frances Bean, their daughter. Kurt had just finished a 60 day rehab and wrote a letter to give to Frances Bean when she got old enough, explaining why he had divorced Love and fought for custody of her, no father would write such a letter then blow their own brains out. Plus, even though the door was locked from the inside, an exterior window was cracked open, with several fingerprint that were not Kurt's, or the landlord's, that were found on the glass on the inside, making it very suspicious, that evidence was left out of the official report. I should also add that Courtney was not well liked and avoided in the Portland music scene, where she got her start, her gigs at Satyricon and the Roseland were some of the lowest attended.
@NativePortlander1970 wow....i never knew that....but i believe it
@beermeplease So many so called grungehead Love lovers ridicule and laugh at me when I explain all that in replies, I can guarantee none of them come from Portland, or Seattle.
I was never allowed to go to "satanic noise festivals" by my uber religious extremist church secretary mother 🙄
