Nessun Dorma

''Nessun Dorma'', from the Opera ''Turadot'', was Giacomo Puccini's last work. Here are two versions that are both wonderfully performed.

Jose Cura - A handsome tenor who has a very beautiful voice and is worthy of praise for his performance.

And Luciano Pavarotti - His voice and delivery...by all rights, this song belonged to him, for no one could give it the fervor and passion he did. There will be no other tenor who shall exist like Maestro Luciano Pavarotti. A legend gone too soon, he is sadly and greatly missed by the world.

I like to watch Youtube videos of First time reactions, of Rappers and Singers reacting to the Pav's Performance. And get blown away by him.
@rinkydinkydoink

You are very welcome.May your every post - and comment - continue to be as fine.

Thank you very much! I look forward to your comments ( if you are inclined to do so) to future musical posts of mine☺

Pav was the best. Not wanting to clutter your post with another video, googling Pav at a younger age will confirm your perfect analysis. The man was a gift from above - no question at all about that.
@rinkydinkydoink

I absolutely agree with you. Thank you ☺He was a gift that keeps on giving even after his passing, that alone is an achievement and a triumph not many mortals would have the opportunity of attaining.

I feel I would need to have more hands🐙 to use it lol😂 but yes, it is an amazing musical instrument ☺

@LilMissAnonyMOUSE well the uillean pipes is way tougher as you need so much air you need a foot pump instead of just your lungs! otherwise it would not end well!
Andrea Bocelli gives a great rendition.
@soar2newhighs

Andrea Bocelli...such a beautiful voice he has. His children now sing too...I'm happy to know his talent has been passed on and that we shall be gifted with their talent as well.☺
The power of Pavarotti’s voice leaves me awestruck every time.

Another version I enjoy, from one of my favorite duos.

Cura’s voice is amazing, and his enunciation is so precise, unlike many other artists.

Pavarotti was, of course, the gold standard among tenors. He was the reason I love this aria so much. Indeed, gone much too soon. 🥺
@bijouxbroussard

Such a beautiful manly voice he has and yes, his many years of traveling and training shows in his way of pronouncing the words in the language he is required to sing.

Pavarotti can be considered a once in a lifetime phenomenon that makes one lucky to have witnessed. Indeed,he has given way through his art for many to appreciate opera and classical music. This aria happens to be my favorite of all arias. We are fortunate to have his performances all on video to enjoy for a long time, a legacy he has gifted us all.
