Houses of the Holy or Physical Graffiti....dont know why just love them both.
Or an album put out by Page and Plant where they played with a classical Morocan orchesta and did Zep songs. It is named "No Quarter" released in 1994.

Houses of the Holy because of two songs in particular which I consider among their very best: Over the hills and far away, and The Ocean.

It has to be III - I remember the first time I heard the Immigrant Song on the radio. I was in 8th grade and it totally blew me away. I don't think I was aware of Led Zep before then.
KimWexler · 51-55, F
Second Graffiti disc is way better.
KimWexler · 51-55, F
It IS a Night Flight kind of night.
quitwhendone · M
Led Zep I and II because they are the bluesiest.
Jimmy2016 · 61-69, M
Led Zeppelin. It's so bluesy....
LedRobster · 61-69, M
Physical Graffiti for the variety. Looking back, I am astounded at Jimmy Page's guitar playing and production as well. Also, John Paul Jones contributed much more to the Zep sound that he is given credit for.

And....

I also think it’s the best they ever sounded in terms of production.

Brown Bomber!!
Bowerman527 · 61-69, M
Physical Graffiti- Led Zep at height of their powers and using recording wizardry such as miking a stairwell for John Bonham’s cymbals, amazing!

Hmmm. Between II and Presence. Presence I love Archilles Last Stand and Nobody's Fault but Mine.

You didn’t wish me a happy birthday Sir? What’s up with that? I’m good people! 😇👋🥳@Firmhand55
KimWexler · 51-55, F
Sweetie, please communicate this via private message. Your attempt at flirtation on my post allows me to see it, and I don't want to coach you on how to do it properly.
realrare · 51-55, F
😂😂 I don’t flirt with Steve! He’s happily married like me! I didn’t find what I said to be racey. 😒 Feel free to delete my comment.

MisterMeccano · 56-60, M
All of them! Possibly Led Zeppelin II and III were the real stand outs though.
the third one. no awful songs on it
KimWexler · 51-55, F
@SharonByNight LZ III is probably the most underrated album ever.
@KimWexler house of the holy has 2 awful songs.
KimWexler · 51-55, F
Dancing Days and D'yer Mak'er.

One. Because the first cut is the deepest.💞😎
KimWexler · 51-55, F
@Montanaman nothing like referencing a Cat Stevens song on a Zep thread.

@Harriet03 I remember how American music magazines like Rolling Stone (back when RS had at least a bit more credibility than now) used to trash Zep. Then after Bonzo died and the group disbanded, suddenly RS thought Zep was one of the greatest rock groups ever. I don't know if it was a matter of not realizing what you had until it was gone or not?
Harriet03 · 41-45, F
@LedRobster I was born in 1980. My mum was always playing them. Great music fan. She tells some great stories!

@Harriet03 blimey i saw them play before you were born 🤦♂️
