My bestie gave me a black eye. Why does everyone I know think it's okay to assault me?

It's kind of a compliment. She's one of the few people I could definitely beat up but knew it was safe for her to assault me because she knows I'm not going to react disproportionately or do anything more than I need to to make her stop. She knows I'm not going to hurt her.
