I never knew that!

Because Paul McCartney is the music guest on SNL Tonight I looked him up. Then I asked, how were the Beatles formed? Apparently it was John Lennon who began it all in 1956, and then met a 15 year old Paul and had him join. Their band name? The Quarrymen!! I never knew!! They became The Beatles in 1960.

Shock and horror! That time was my awakening to the "new scene" and many names (some forgotten) came on the scene. I was a mod in my rebirth, a northern mod contrary to the London mob. My home town was not exciting enough so we crossed the Pennines to Manchester where the scene was electric.
I will stop now before I get carried away.
