Favorite Movie Soundtracks - Musicals

The first one I remember liking was West Side Story. Then probably Wizard of Oz. More recent I would have to say Rent and Wicked were played the most when we played CDs in the car. I’ll ask about non musicals another time.

I didn't like musical movies at all until I started going to live musical theater. Now I listen to the soundtracks of La Miz and Phantom quite often.

@exexec did i miss Phantom as a movie? I personally thought Les Mis was awful as a movie.

@samueltyler2 Yes, there was a Phantom movie. Not bad. I have the DVD and watch it occasionally.

@exexec we have played music from the show in both concert bands. I hate to say it, i never thought it to be a great show.
