One of the most technically brilliant guitarists of all time. Flies just under the radar, as do the other members of Rush, (RIP Neil). My favourite band of all time, and some of the greatest concerts I've had the good fortune to see.
Rush is amazing and my favorite band. Saw them in concert many times and they always played an awesome 3 hour show. Have you ever seen them in concert before they retired in 2015?
I'm in the middle of replacing all their vinyl I had, on CD. Unfortunately, I sold my vinyl some time ago but luckily, their CDs have been remastered. I'm up to 'Hold Your Fire' so far
@UKNaturist I have a mix as I kept some of my vinyl. I now find I'm buying vinyl to replace the cd of the vinyl I let go of at some point 😂😂
But not with Rush who have always been a favourite I never got rid of any of theirs. I have original vinyl up to Power Windows. Hold your Fire onwards I have on cd.
@AllycatAD It still blows my mind how HE is not in at least the top 10 guitar players and guitar (music) songwriters of ALL TIME!!! He is my #2, actually. #3 is David Gilmour. I may be only 18, but thank the Lord my Dad brought me up on 2 cool things: Good timeless rock and sports.
The more I listen to them and watch them, the more I am convinced that Rush is not only the BYFAR best 3-man band EVER, but in the top 5 of all time greatest rock bands. Fucking A!
