Who are your favourite bands that originate in your home city?

Alice in Chains,Soundgarden,Pearl Jam,Temple of the Dog,Nirvana are a few from around my area

None originated in my home city. I grew up in a tiny little southern town about an hour from Nashville. Lots of stars came from Nashville though!

personally : Harmonium and beau dommage, but the most well known outside of Quebec are probably arcade fire, simple plan, men without hats and april wine.
