I'm fond of the first Enigma album, especially cause Frank Peterson a.k.a Father Gregorian was involved in it, that's why it sounded a bit different than the other Enigma albums. He left Enigma right after that. Greogorian went on to have other musical projects that had similar musical themes he had brought into the Enigma project. You can hear his influence on some of Sarah Brightman's albums also. Try listening to So Sad by Gregorian in YouTube.

Idk honestly cause I listen and understand mostly English music.
There are some classic Italian songs from some songwriters which have lyrics that are literally poetry and I think those song are amazing, but I won't say they're among my favourties cause I don't 'lived' them.
Like some masterpieces of the 80s, 70s, 60s etc, I wasn't even alive at that time.

Then there are some Japanese and French songs that I like cause they have a great instrumental and tone of voice, but again, not my fav music overall, cause I should read the lyrics to really understand them (even if I did it in the past, maybe I don't remember it well).

Example of a MASTERPIECE of Italian music. This is one of the best and most romantic poetic lyrics ever written in Italian language, to me. This author is very skillful with use of words etc.

I actually learned the lyrics and sound reasonably close to the right pronunciation to my dumb ears. I am sure my Romanian is atrocious.

Also there [i]are[/i] lyrics that's just the intro. It's like less than a minute of the song!

There is an English version. It doesn't literally have the same meaning because songs sound insane translated directly but it's also got good lyrics!!

The first verse and chorus of the English version:
