Same movies on every tv app

Why do all tv apps play the same new awful movies and charge $ for the older, better ones? And they never play anything decent anymore, for families and those that don’t want to watch gore, horror, war, murder, apocalyptical and other such negative things!

You are so right. I went looking for Casablanca thinking it would be a great late night movie, well worth watching for the 5th or 6th time and discovered, even with my subscription aps for YouTube, Prime and Netflix and the freebees, there was an extra charge. A 75+ year old movie and they are still selling tickets to see it. Meanwhile there are thousands and thousands of movies, some just months old that are either free or available via Prime or Netflix for no extra charge.

I pay for Netflix, Disney, Amazon Prime, Paramount plus and Watch Cartoons Online. My brother has access to all these from his house and I have access to Stan which he pays for... (stingy bugger)
I also have ABC Iview, SBS On demand and Tubi which are all free. And most days I read a book instead...

I just feel the same way as you! That's the stuff today's youth is watching and hence, that's why we see too much violence from them.

We need to get back to classic TV show for the whole family too enjoy.
I miss the week end films with westerns cowboys and the old war films

You could buy most movies on YouTube now, I think. It doesn't cost anything to make an account there

I don't even know if the Turner Classic Movies channel is still around

It's all about the money....they charge more for the movies that are in demand...just like anything else these days.....drain the people of everything you can get to keep the investors happy and screw the customers
