But, in researching your statement, I came across this bit of news - - I always thought there were 2 or 3 songs written about Pattie but there were actually 10!

Ok, here's the deal - I realize, on the whole, The Beatles are revered by many, many, many people but some, a few, a piddly number of malcontents (mostly metal heads, gen Z?) intensely dislike, what they consider to be, the undue praise the boys have received over the years. Or maybe they dislike those who like/love the mop tops. Whatever. Maybe it's merely a knee jerk reaction typical of newer generations wanting to dispose of the past rather than automatically revering it.
Personally, I've always liked them. Maybe not loved, though...
