Tv binge watching

I just got done binge watching "Who the (Bleep) did I Marry?!"

Honestly, it broke my heart seeing these sweet people get absolutely shafted by users and abusers. 😓

It also made me not want to date again, but it also made me hopeful that even as I get older, maybe there are some sweet guys out there who just need a safe and secure relationship like I do.

I'm just curious why do people make eveyone else guilty by association with other people that they don't even know exists? I always wondered where this mentality comes from. You saw men, I'm assuming, individuals who made bad decisions, doing something untoward towards women and that makes you not want to date again? Over their actions, total strangers! Im trying to understand this.

@AngelUnforgiven Actually, I was talking more about the men who had women absolutely destroy them, but chose genderless because anyone who is hurt by another person for simply wanting to care is horrible.

People make bad decisions. To err is human. It just aeems like there are more people out there who are in relationships just for themselves and not for the joy of experiencing life with someone else. It isn't just tv shows that make this apparent. I see it all over the place. It makes me not want to bother if people can't better themselves.

@FoxyQueen All true, i was just saying in general, i'm trying to wrap my mind around the fact that a person could make a decision to lump everyone into a basket based off the actions of a few or even just on another individual's actions. It makes no sense to me. Its like me witnessing a man beat a woman and based off this one experience i say MEN are evil or this makes me not want to date, because this man , This one individual who i don't even know decided that he wanted to be violent towards someone. I just find it all very interesting. Thanks for responding.

imho... I think for many people, this is a transitional phase that people go thru. It may last a long time it may last a short time but as someone heals from a relationship their feelings and moods change. (rationalizing things out). I think this is a section of those changes.

I try my best to avoid multi episode and binges with gloomy or dark endings. Programs with happy endings better align with most people's wish for a happy life and stories as such serve to better inspire us to that end.

@Heartlander

In small doses it's pretty interesting. But be careful to not watch too much

I’ve been watching a lot of police chases lately. And sometimes binge on travel shows.

I've seen that. I was expecting it to be morbidly amusing but it was just disturbing
