ChampagneOnIce It has nothing to do with freedom of speech. He was both malicious and condescending in his remarks aimed at the victim of heinous and barbaric crime. Essentially blaming the death as Kirk’s fault for being part of the very party that killed him, all said with an evil smile on his face as he made these claims on public television.
When assigned to things such as public television people hired to do so sign contracts to uphold themselves to a certain standard. Breaking these contracts is akin to breaking the law, of which are called tort laws.
Jimmy Kimmel is essentially liable to be sued by Turning Point USA, Erika Kirk, or even Charlie Kirk’s Mother and Father, even after ABC fired him for his statements on air. ABC can no longer be sued because he refused to comply with issuing a formal statement of apology because that’s how narcissistic and prideful Jimmy Kimmel is. He is a failed comedian whose unfunny antics and controversial political humor led to plummeting viewership, barely engaging just above a million viewers each night. Meaning that ABC/Disney was hemorrhaging money keeping him on the air and continually renewing his contracts.
The killer is a leftist, part of antifa, the furry community, and a homosexual with a transsexual biological male partner, who is attempting to take hormone therapy in order to make them “feel” more female.
Nothing about any of these descriptions points towards the right. Nor does any of the repercussions happening to Jimmy Kimmel fall within a category of his free speech being violated.
He celebrated the deplatforming of many people himself which makes him an absolute hypocrite if he bothers to complain about it, and it also makes anyone decrying his personal situation of being deplatformed a hypocrite when they celebrate other people from the right suffering injustices but only complain when someone on their side is being treated the same way they treated others.
Jimmy Kimmel is not a martyr. He lost nothing by being fired and has already made more money than most people will ever see in their lives.
Meanwhile an actual Martyr lost his life at the hands of a savage leftist and no longer can exercise his free speech because he was killed.
Jimmy Kimmel can start his own stupid podcast
There are vast distinctions in place when comparing Kimmel to Kirk, of which nothing of consequence has happened to Kimmel yet.
In fact by you stating that you believe the killer was radicalized by the “right” proves the point in why Kimmel was let go for his abhorrent rhetoric and statements of misinformation on public television. Because you’re proving how badly misinformation that he and others have stated has spread. Which is why repercussions are happening to people who engage in the abhorrent behavior of lying to a genuinely gullible public, such as yourself.
