The Grand Banks, 400 +/- miles from the Newfoundland coast, were in ancient times, (long before it became the Titanic's final resting place) believed to be cursed. (not that I, myself strongly believe in curses) Even modern sailors call it "The Devil's Hole." A place of deadly surprises.
