@deadgerbil glad you asked. I think their inconsistency would be of significant advantage to me, as I can freely now use this criteria of scirntific empirical evidence requirements for something that requires other tools to verify 👀

My application of this renders ys both at a stalemate where you cannot mert my criteria and I get to deny outta my own free will and inconsistency. Because for other desirable things requiring metaphysical tools, I will suddenly accept it 😈

@sexyjigsaw I see, like when it comes to the existence of a god in general, like one that exists soley outside of the universe, then yeah it would be silly to demand scientific proof for that.

A problem arises when religious people make extremely specific claims about the world that they want others to believe, for which there should be evidence but there is none(Noah's flood, the earth being 10,000 years old, etc). I also feel like people put too much emphasis on the idea of atheistm. Is there a word for non astrologers? They make equally ridiculous claims about how the stars light-years away affect me personally
