BeachGirl47 · 26-30, F
The secrets of skinwalker ranch. New season next week on the 18th i think
Theyitis · 36-40, M
@BeachGirl47 I just read some stuff about Skinwalker Ranch in a an article on Facebook about mysteries of the world. I haven’t seen the show, but Skinwalker Ranch is real!
The Expanse is very good. Actually, season 1 is only pretty good; season 2 is better; season 3 still better.

The Peripheral is also quite good, but only 1 season is out. It was renewed for a 2nd season which I eagerly await.

DARK is good but rather confusing in the early episodes. I had to keep notes of who was who and in which timeline.

@ElwoodBlues yes i loved DARK but found i had to make notes on whos who!
Brilliantly done
TheFragile · 46-50, M
@ElwoodBlues I've heard good things about The Expanse and Dark. I'll have to check them out. The Peripheral was excellent.

I very much agree regarding "The Expanse."

There's also "Babylon 5" if you don't mind going back to a TV series from the 90s.

As far as movies go, I would recommend the original "Planet of the Apes" starring Charlton Heston, but you've probably seen it already.

"Upgrade" is a movie you might find entertaining if you haven't seen it, which you probably haven't. That's my guess anyway.

John Carpenter's "The Thing" from 1982, and if you've seen that one already there's also the 2011 prequel starring Mary Elizabeth Winstead, which you may not have seen.

"10 Cloverfield Lane" also starring Winstead and John Goodman.

"Interstellar" is a bit long, but worth watching.

It depends of course how far you want to go with this because I can just keep tossing movie suggestions out there to you.

"Sunshine"

"Pandorum"

What exactly are you looking for and do you have in mind?
TheFragile · 46-50, M
@StarFuryG7 I watch all kinds of sci-fi. I love The Thing and 10 Cloverfield Lane.
StarFuryG7 · 56-60
@TheFragile I hope my other suggestions were helpful.
I'll throw in what I would consider some classics.

My all time fave movie is 2001. Second is Blade Runner, not the narrated version, one of the director's cuts.

For series, if you can watch Babylon 5, that was a cult favorite amongst some of my geeky friends.
TheFragile · 46-50, M
@BrewCityBarfly I've seen the movies, I'll have to check out Babylon 5. Thanks for the suggestion.
The best in recent memory. I found all these to be very well written and intelligent science fiction films.

Annihilation (2018)
District 9 (2009)
Prometheus (2012)
TheFragile · 46-50, M
@BlueSkyKing District 9 is great. I'll have to check the other two out.
The original "The Day The Earth Stood Still" (1951)

"Frequency"
