Netflix hikes prices again

Why even stay with them?? I'm surprised an exodus didn't happen when they stopped allowing sharing. I like lower prices not higher prices. Only way to tell that to Netflix is to drop the service.

They'll either get the message or close up shop.

Yeah I seen they took on a bunch more subscribers so now they’re going to raise the price. Are you surprised after they just raised it. But I use it a lot I’m gonna keep it. A bunch of years ago they raise the prices and started losing customers and they put the price back down. It’s still worth it to me because I use it a lot.

@Jonjdw Same here.

@Jonjdw there was a ton of content they got rid of. Most things on Netflix is new, I prefer older shows and movies.

But also, if I pay 16.79 for 2 screens, I should be able to use those 2 screens how I want. It's called false advertising. Companies get away with it because people don't know.

I'm as done with Netflix as I am with EA. My money won't be going into their greedy pockets no more.

Sadly everything is going up these days thanks to our lovely government. ☹️

@Musicman and corporate greed

Canadian nextflix is probably the worst, always has and will be.

$17.99 for old movies that weren’t even good in their day or a plethora of b movies and nonsense nobody wants.

Now you’re sitting here telling me the company who’s debating on outing adds and commercials in their COMMERCIAL FREE STREAMING SERVICE also plans to ante up the price of the subscription?

Well they can suck me dry and I’m not talking about my wallet! I’m talking about my penis because I will just cancel my subscription if they raise the prices! 😡

I am finding myself more and more watching YouTube via my cable TV on my TV. They have a few free movies, with ads. Most are not top, but I have found a few old ones I'd never heard of before, even with big stars, which was interesting. Some were clearly flops, though.

Imagine if Blockbuster came back with a $7.99 subscription to their own streaming service. I'd pick that up in a heartbeat if it hosted good content, and hope others follow.

Someone said that Netflix is going to open video stores. These days I can't see that happening.

First to market doesn't guarantee a permanent presence in the market.

Yeah it's off to the high seas for me
Do you really believe prices on things never ever go up, ever?

They probably just got a boatload of new subscribers because all of the sharing leeches didn't want to give up Netflix

But by all means, go to a different service and pay even more, that'll show 'em 🙄

Costco is telling sharing leeches to eff off too now, I can't blame them

@BlueGreenGrey no, prices go up and I know that. It's kind of shit when price goes up and then 2 months later, prices on that same thing go up again.

And the problem now is, all the inflation, prices have skyrocketed. But here's the thing, when prices go up, they never go back down. At least I've never seen that happen. So guess we will be stuck with high prices.

For me. there isn't much that I like to watch on there any longer. They have gone downhill, unfortunately. If they raise the subscription rate too much, I will drop them. Not a big deal for me.
