Grief.. Can't quite imagine the gator allowing itself to be swallowed without putting up a fight
@Convivial just goes to show the strength of the snake!!
Convivial · 26-30, F
@metaldog I'm wondering if maybe the gator was already dead?
@Convivial I don't think pythons eat dead creatures
Convivial · 26-30, F
@metaldog i certainly don't know...i just find it difficult that the gator wouldn't put up a decent fight

@Convivial The Python usually kills or nearly kills larger prey by constriction first. Can be by suffocation or by over pressurizing the brain. They are ridiculously strong. Once it gets its pray wrapped up it is pretty much over.

@RuyLopez yes, i understand that... But I'm having trouble believing the gator would allow the process to start without taking a bloody big bite out of the python first

@Convivial probably tried.
