When the book came out, I thought "This would make a great movie."
A few years later, the movie came out.
From what I remember from the book, the theory is there is a relationship between birds and dinosaurs. I think the theory is that dinosaurs evolved into birds. I don't remember the ending of the book or movie.

@ProfessorPlum77 No,some species of dinosaurs evolved into a new class of animal, while the others went extinct. Its an error to suggest simply that on the day dinosaurs went extinct, some grew feathers.Birds have existed for at least 100 million years.

@wonkywinky I wasn't suggesting anything. I was commenting on what the author of "Jurassic Park" suggested.
