A ghost story; anyone experienced something sitting on your chest.?

I was 19 and in college , middle of the night I felt a high pressure on my chest, fully conscious , but I couldn't move , dread overtook me, something was there, it was really there it sucked my energy body out of me, I looked for a scientific explanation, all I got was a bunch of bullshit, there are energy feeding entities out there.

Scientifically they call it sleep paralysis, seeing ghostly figures, being unable to move , loss of muscle coordination, oh well thanks for defining it science ,soo very helpful.

Had similar experiences few times, it's a state of consciousness... are there creatures beyond the scope of our senses? Yes I believe there are, different beings and entities. Do they feed upon us? Uhm well, some may do, some cultures see disease as coming from them, attaching to your body. There is a concept I find fun, that the more you vibrate in a higher frequency, the less prone you are to them, the less they can touch you.
Well all these are stories. Our own life is a story in the end. The addiction I have to my coffee and all..stories

@Boeing nice writeup, I feel so they are existing as intelligence also feeders, when we are at our lowest state of energy sick or drunk, our energy body oozes out and they quickly feed on the incoming drain aura, which they grip and soon they materialise for moments and find themselves on your chest.The consciousness then does a paralysis, temporary cut of aura for the feeder to disengage and that portion is what we are feeling, I believe

@TomSimulation I carry a wild imagination, let's start from there but I believe I once sensed one, whilst in a meditation. I went anxious to my teacher and they said something and she then told me how I am not ready yet and I should relax my meditation.

I made a variety of interpretations, one of which is, once your mind is clear, you don't create these dark stories and so I'd better proceed with my meditation in a more soft and mild manner, so to not get into fearful scenarios.

@Boeing best of luck

It's the first stage of astral projection. During the end of the body asleep mind awake state as you begin to project, your ego's hold over you starts to weaken which threatens its understanding of reality and causes people to become struck with intense fear. The entity you are feeling in the room with you is the shadow of your own ego or self. The first being we usually meet in the higher worlds is ourselves, shamans have known this forever, they know that a person's spirit animal or totem is actually projection of their own inner nature.

@Phaethon while I have seen my own totem animal animated as a mirror image of me, a hawk, during severe trauma.This seemed different and alien
I have had it quite a few times….extremely disturbing.
TomSimulation · 36-40
@ExquisiteCorpse yes..too bad
ChipmunkErnie · 70-79, M
Yes -- turned out my arm had fallen asleep and was lying across my chest, numb.
Ohplease47 · F
It seems this is a common creepout during sleep, what is oppressing you the most deeply completely frighteningly? Who or what is keeping you from getting up and doing the obvious about something?
TomSimulation · 36-40
@Ohplease47 happend only once and not a commonncrepout something different
Ohplease47 · F
@TomSimulation OK its your story. No problem.Just adding my two cents of bs...

I had the dream that I was about to be devoured by a bloodthirsty tiger. I then awoke and my cat was standing on my chest!
TomSimulation · 36-40
@CBarson 😌
Nunki · 31-35, F
Yes and also weird wind blowing on my face
Nunki · 31-35, F
I wasn’t exactly terrified. More like creeped out a bit. It’s a strange feeling @TomSimulation
TomSimulation · 36-40
@Nunki maybe an incubus was entering you
Nunki · 31-35, F
Omg wtf
Nooo it was nothing of the sort :/
@TomSimulation
Anecdotal. I always ask for a strict definition for a ghost and never get it.

Also how can science come up with an explanation for something that has zero evidence?
TomSimulation · 36-40
@BlueSkyKing it's called sleep paralysis, but they have just described the phenomenon, doesn't say why, as usual scientific bs
@TomSimulation You make complaint about something that took place twenty years ago, in the entertainment section. For what purpose?
Wolf38 · F
Experienced that its horrible.
TomSimulation · 36-40
@Wolf38 omygod yes
Nitedoc · 51-55, M
Do you know what a succubus is? If not Google it.
Nitedoc · 51-55, M
@TomSimulation Just sayin'.
TomSimulation · 36-40
@Nitedoc yes it felt like a demonic attack
Nitedoc · 51-55, M
@TomSimulation It may well have been, but I don't know.
