Being middle aged is when your friends need you for rides from the psych hospital

As I've gotten older I'm afraid of everything. I won't even go out into my own yard at night unless someone goes with me. I bought motion detection flood lights, i have cameras, and i have a lot of solar powered lights around my plants i cant even enjoy them because im always looking over my shoulder when i go out there at night. And God forbid a car passes by or slows down i swear its a kidnapper. Idk why because i live in a nice quiet neighborhood. I'm always picturing some hooded figure out there waiting to pounce 😂
