Favorite Director?

My favorite director is Alan Smithee. I'll watch pretty much anything Smithee directs.

Never once have I known who directed a movie. Only after the fact.
If I read about it sometime.
If the movie grabs my attention, well and good.
No need for me to know who the director was.
