Last film of the night, I might just watch my favorite sequence from it, it's where he watches home movies
If the title is illegible it's called Dillinger is Dead directed by Marco Ferreri, and boy do I love this, I have a box set with other films by him, but this one stands the tallest out of them all, a simple storyline, a guy all alone, well his wife, a pill popper is asleep up in her room and he's cooking a meal for himself, and finds a gun, and as he cleans it he watches home movies, oh I love that so much, opening credits music too is great a cappella catchiness that when I had the internet it helped me find The Swingle Singers, oh how I love their Bach Jazz music. Watching home movies here was for me like an example of how I was in the mid to late 00s, just having the time of my life watching moving images on a screen.
