Been watching my way through the Female Prisoner Scorpion movies! What a treat! The second one is such a perfect movie. And the third isnt far behind. Am now making a quick pit stop for the second part of The Human Condition. Powerful.

@MrAlmostCrazy That sequence floored me! In general I loved the treatment of Sasori as a beacon of female rage, which would follow the women who were treated the worst. I never knew the initial four movies were so different in setting and tone. What a treat!

@Somerset Have you checked out Lady Snowblood? Same star in that, Meiko Kaji is her name i think, although i do need to fact check more often before blurting things out.

@MrAlmostCrazy Know the first one! Perfect film to me! Have struggled to get into the second one though. Got the double bill by Arrow Video. Havent noticed any hiccups, but still, I‘m mostly only participating when you‘re posting about movies!

@Somerset Yeah the first is the good one. I got the Criterion issue, Arrow probably has more special features. thanks!! I find it hard to properly watch them, but i'm making special note of all my faves that i have for the summer.
