Still have The Man Who Laughs on my watchlist. Nosferatu has been a couple of years, since I saw it last. Definitely have to watch more Dreyer, and later works too.

If you think that movie is a great work of art, please try "The Golem: How He Came into the World", another German Expressionist film, from 1920.

@helenS Yeah, I love The Golem, my Kino disc of it had FOUR soundtracks, one pretty experimental and trippy!!

@MrAlmostCrazy I can't see how contemporary "computer generated imagery" (CGI) added anything of artistic worth to the movies where is was used. Very often it is just used to hide the emptiness of those films.
