It looks like superhero movies are going out and video game movies are coming in

Video game movies haven't had a good track record in terms of quality until recently. But I'm so sick of these superhero flicks, I'll take any different movie trend at this point. As a gamer myself, it is cool to see video games have more high profile film adaptations, even if they do look dumb as hell, like the upcoming Minecraft movie. But hey, it still goes to show how far video games have come, especially on the film front.
