Pickings..... a good pick.

I recently watched a movie that I thought was pretty good. I am not a major movie nut, and my tastes are a bit off maybe. But the movie was called PICKINGS. It has kind of a Tarantino feel to it, so if you don't like his work, you my not care for this one either.

It was written, directed and produced by Usher Morgan . And despite being a low budget , independent film the story line, photography, and action are well done with solid performances from a lesser known cast. It slows a bit as it bounces around weaving the story but it delivers.

It's about a crew of mobsters shaking down
smalltime bars. Through intimidation and violence they get their way. Until they try to shakedown a family with a past. They soon learn intimidation and violence have a relative ... vengeance. A picture worthy of a pick , is PICKINGS.
